aboutreinforcing American Design
who are we?
We believe form and function should never be mutually exclusive, and integrity in both process and product should always take top priority. Revolution Design House is a Portland based producer of American made objects. We represent innovative makers-and-thinkers from idea to market, as our goal is to reinforce the importance of American design. Our products are made locally and the materials we use are always considered. The result is a collection of objects that are as unique as they are timeless, as simple as they are surprising. Through these principles, we bring pride back to ownership. Love what you own.

what do we offer?
Being designers ourselves, we understand the excitement of great ideas and the magic in making the object. Our goal is to get that object to the marketplace by working hand-in-hand with the designer. We establish the best option for manufacturing while maintaining the integrity of the design. We work with the designer to understand the importance in the making of the product as well as the importance of marketing the design and the designer. We help in prototyping with the designer and determine the best marketing strategy for the product. We offer the knowledge to our designers, of the systems needed to make a quality product, so whatever the designer’s next product may be, he or she understands the process. Our goal is to not only grow the individual designer, but also aid in the revolution of American design.
We have worked hard to build relationships with local manufacturing facilities who keep small scale production in mind. We work with the designer to determine the best process and necessary materials, to manufacture each individual product. Our job is to always know the advancements in technology and source American manufacturers who offer these services. We will never make our products over-seas and will work to our best ability to keep costs down while maintaining the highest quality.
At RDH we understand that today’s market is a delicate beast. People are tired of the lifeless goods being produced abroad. There is a steady rise in the desire for well made objects being produced domestically. For any product to be successful it needs to be experienced. Our market connects with the story of each product, by learning intimate details about the designer and their inspiration behind the project. We represent the mantra: Love what you own.
